Can't believe the site went down on a night like this!!

Light sleet here at the moment, hope it will turn to snow soon. Temp is 1.3oC, dew point 0.3oC.

Wet snow here in Bangor, blowing in the wind. Unexpected to say the least.

I just popped out for a bit and have sobered up a good bit. 3 pints of cider is all I had. I'm a lightweight.

The naked sledging is still on by the way.

Yes snow falling in Bangor - it is very sleety but great to see!

The wind is shocking - blowing an absolute gale with a very nasty wind chill effect

The 10.35 forecast from Cecilia Daly was a classic, snow all the way apart from south eastern parts of coastal Down. Wet snow here now.

Watcher

I agree quite unexpected. Absolutely blowing a severe gale round the corner in Donaghadee and snowing. Snow is wet and not lying but blowing around alot. Lights flickering.

Well, now it's time for me to go and lay down and turn out the lights. Watch some tv whilst facing the window at lamppost angle.

If it gets heavy or begins to lie, I'll be back.

p.s. No partying without me.

Latest Beeb forecast on their website ended by saying "more cold weather on the way next week". Could turn out to be a record breaking March/April. Hopefully if the cold does stay then we will get a cracking summer! Wishfull thinking!

Wild out there tonight, rain/sleet at the moment but as MS says, if this turns to snow during the night there's going to be more than a couple of cm waiting for us in the morning.

Laying on the cars now, always a good sign.

Well i'm off to bed. Fingers crossed I awake to a blizzard and day off work!!

Hopefully will awake to stories of Watcher sledging down Four Winds hill. Might need Sundog to warm him up after that!
