Raintoday still showing the snow shield, it's pivoting now so Norwich will soon be geeting a dumping. The fact it seems to be pivoting over lowestoft hence keeping Yarmouth dry is beyond a joke

Supposedly a few centimetres or more across the region according to the forecasts.

This is now becoming very exciting. Good covering outside including the roads and the snow is becoming heavier. The radar suggests its going to become even heavier this evening for my location.

If this goes to plan then by around midnight I should have a deep covering.

The decent stuff must be saving itself for you then . . still got very light snow although do have a covering on grass, cars and roofs now, roads still clear here.

Good luck hopefully it will be generous and let us have some heavy stuff too :-)

I hope you're right TEITS; although up here in PE4 the roads are clear and footpaths only just starting to cover over.

As you say though the radar looks very promising for the rest of the evening.

Im hoping Norwich will get more settling snow this evening too. Been snowing a lot here all day but to little effect. Lets see what the evening brings!

You do seem to be more of a favoured spot for this one but I know you have missed out in other set ups in the past.

Unless we see a strong pivot I fear I'm 30/40 miles to far south/west of the favoured spots. Still got my snowman from last Sunday and we top it up a bit today, Could it survive 10 days we will see,

fax for sunday 12

the front according to these should head south

although very slowly and will weaken as it does

although ukmo seem to keep this stronger overnight and tomorrow

so it looks like a few interesting few hours again

charts are showing dryer to tues pm at present

look at these uppers at present

if anything pops up out of the blue

very unlikely be rain
