Definitely feels as though its trying to do something here just north of Eastbourne.

In saying that I am half way through a bottle of red so may not be completely accurate.

Funny you should mention a bottle, because I'm home in the warm with the heating turned up again with a big glass of Southern Comfort. I'm having to re-type words at times too whistling.gif

Ok what has been a small disappointment during the day! Lots of snow, but getting very slushy and lots of melt,

It has now started to look very promising from the radar, and a good couple of hours, with lower temps, should give a good covering

Hi JP, Have you seen the convective ppn around Eastbourne? It's starting to intensify. Also, the ppn to the N & E of London is starting to pivot and move South.............Exciting times tonight biggrin.pngcold.gif

It's dying out

Constant moderate snow for the last 3-4 hours with around 3cm+ on the ground now. Is it me or is this precip more intense than predicted? It seems to keep intensifying at the moment - could be a very interesting night. I have no doubt it'll weaken by the morning however this system could easily give some areas another 4inches before its done.

I'm going to make a jug of our own mulled cider 2011. Didn't get any apples last year so I'm going to test what vintage cider tastes like from the year before— we made 4 gallons of the stuff so might as well make a start…

Hope its as good as my Chablis was, now for the chicken jalfezi (think I spelt that wrong, but who cares), cheers.

At least the ppn to the North & East of London seems to be pivoting and making slow inroads South biggrin.png

heaviest snow of the day here. fresh inch covering on roads that were wet 90 minutes ago, between 3 to 6 inches on all other surfaces, more in places on grass. winter wonderland!

Snowing again here. Again.

After depriving me of another football match, the snow can only redeem itself now by saving me from a trip to see the mother in law tomorrow.

Just arrived home to a sad & sorry Wandsworth with no lying snow, no falling snow, just a bit of slush on car windscreens. *sob!

On a positive note, our flight landed ok in LHR with just 90 mins delay. And there was a beautiful lounge in Agadir :-)
