Hello everyone, first time posting in this thread since I normally post in the South-West thread, but I'm coming home to London for Easter so I thought I'd start posting on here too! :) I am very intrigued by the longevity of this cold spell, and it would be interesting to see if any snow emerges in the next couple of weeks, though obviously this won't be picked up until perhaps 2 days before.

I just have one word to say.... WHY?

Why are some of us still looking for snow this time of the year? Snow, you had your chance, you blew it this neck of the regional thread woods, so go do one! Bring on anything other than this dross. lazy.gif

As long as they show warmth and sunshine, go ahead John.

I agree absolutely with you John,

There appears to be Climate shift to me.

Solar minima, carbon levels? I really don't know, but something just isn't right?

Something isn't quite right with our weather patterns, that's for sure... let's hope the past 12 months is a blip... help.gif

It's just a freaky year.

I am sure things will back to normal next year.

Or is there a normal in uk?

Nothing surprises me anymore really .

The uk has such odd weather sometimes.

Drought,floods ,gales,giant hail,snow at Easter,heat waves in October.

Append for years not just lately.

Mother nature.

If you could give a non bias view of all the charts and give your opinion, that would be even better good.gif Thank's John biggrin.png

I'm sure someone will blame this years events on man-made carbon emissions, completely forgetting that 1 million mile wide ball of fire in the sky.

Evening, shattered after my romantic walk up Martham Broads. Guess what we got some light snow showers up there today. 4 layers was just about enough to keep the cold out haha

I do agree PS, but don't think the sun is wholly to blame (assuming that's what you mean by the 1 million mile wide ball of fire in the sky - been a while since I have seen it past hazy cloud) laugh.png

Hi John, wonder how long you have to go back to find a period of 7 months in row below average CET? Hope this doesn't continue too far into summer.
