Yes thanks John but very tired now, with trying to work as much as poss. and preparing for the move. Have to work today, although no horse racing, plenty of sporting events we take bets on, mainly football and open until 7.45 for the televised Leicester v.Millwall game. Could have done with today off really but the overtime rate is good and with the extra outgoings involved in the move, cant turn it down really.

The pond in my parents backgarden in Watford has been frozen since january! Its a bit thin now but at one point it was thick enough to stand on, all though it was very precarious. It would move like waves when you stood on it. My brother in law put his foot through it a few weeks back and we haven't stood on it since!

We're actually moving all the bulky stuff on Sunday April 7th and my son/daughter will move in then but I might stay on here for a few days and just tie up a few loose ends, has been pretty difficult trying to organise everything and work as much as poss.

Really is a busy period in the industry, Cheltenham a couple of weeks ago, then Easter, Grand National meeting at Liverpool, at the end of next week, a weeks break and then straight into the evening racing season, 3rd week in April. But all the overtime, will come in handy.

I'm not working April 7th and have taken some of my 2nd weeks' winter holiday, in the next couple of weeks.

Re. this shower train heading for N.E.Kent, its happened a few times this season, when a decent streamer would look likely to develop but then struggle to get onto the N.E.Kent coast.
