Posting Problems - How To Fix

If you're having problems making posts with symptoms such as:

 

'Post Is Empty' Message

Editor buttons greyed out

Styles not working in your post

 

...Or similar - Please follow the steps below to resolve it.

 

1. Simplest route which will fix it on most occasions, press CTRL+F5 together when on the posting screen, and do it a couple of times to ensure it refreshes properly. 

 

2. If that doesn't work, you'll need to clear your browser cache/temporary internet files (not cookies). If you're unsure on how to do it, follow the links below for the browser you're using:

 

Firefox

Chrome

Internet Explorer 9

Internet Explorer 10

Opera

Safari

 

Once you've cleared the cache, restarting your browser is also recommended. 

 

3. If once you've cleared your cache you're still seeing the buttons on the editor are greyed out, clicking the small switch icon on the top left of the editor will activate them 

 

These steps should solve the vast majority of issues, the new editor has been widely tested before we installed it and there are very few bugs within it at the current time, but if you do have any further problems please let us know either in this thread:
