There were further hazy sunny spells through the morning though cloud continued to increase and thicken so by afternoon only bright spells. The late afternoon saw a few light spots of rain before a clearance arrived from the west around 17:30 GMT.

Could anyone give me a brief 'forecast' for Blackpool on this Fri/Sat/Sun please? My Son's U9 team are playing in a big tournament there. Last yr around this same weekend it was so cold and wet on the Sunday that we abandoned as the kids were in danger of hypothermia..
