A dry and clear night with a slight ground frost. A much more noticeable ground frost lower down, in fact not far off an air frost, as I found out to the cost of my numb hands when I went out for a very early bike ride wearing mitts instead of full gloves!

Currently dry and sunny with the temperature rising quickly.

Started cool, currently 9c, bright but with high white cloud giving hazy sunshine. Looks like it will probably burn off once temperatures increase later.

High level cloud increasing, disappointing start (considering the glut of sunny reports on here!) and hoping for better later! temp still hovering round 10-11c with the sun struggling to get through.

Picture taken at 09:52am (as proof) so still plenty of time....hopefully.......

Edit: showing some improvement in brightness now. Fingers crossed.

Very disappointing here, was expecting clear skies most of the day and have got hazy sun with some thicker cloud looking like it's about the move in from the west- feel robbed haha! Think I may have to move east...

Scorcher, welcome to my world! We are west of you and yes, the cloud appears to be thickening up here and heading your way. Very disappointing so far!

Mixture of blue skies and high cloud giving hazy sunshine here but brighter than some others. It does look like turning fully sunny later (hopefully) as cloud sheet breaking up to our south/south west.

Cloudy here too, as it was all day yesterday, no doubt the sun will come out about 7pm as usual.

Another woeful OVERNIGHT downgrade here in East London, now locked under 90% cloud cover. Forecasting reliability appears to be at rock bottom. Really poor stuff.

Very nice here just to the west of the M25, just some scattered cumulus. I remember reading the Met Office forecast for the SE and I thnik it mentioned a build up of cloud particularly around London and some surrounding areas.

Heathrow reporting 21C currently, back home it's cooler due to an onshore breeze and some mist around the coasts, but has reached 15.7c, a bit higher than forecast again. Although it appears to have just got a couple degrees cooler there.
