Clear spells overnight and cold for mid May, ground frost. Low 1.3c with –1.9c on the grass. After a sunny start cloud is beginning to bubble up.

The late afternoon saw more in the way of bright spells. A dry day with sunny periods, until the last hour when a few showers have moved in from the east, large spots of rain but not amounting to very much; it has gone very dark to the east though.

Clear periods and a ground frost last night.

Sunny intervals and generally dry today, however a prolonged rain and hail shower 1130 to 1230, apart from this just a few brief light showers. Cool, light variable breezes.
