Oh come on Coast, what does the Caribbean possibly have to offer that is better than Eastbourne..??

I could write a list, it won't be a long one, but it will feature sunshine and rum.........

I wish I hadn't posted that video now. Ive been lucky enough to have some wonderful holidays in the past, and The Caribbean Islands are right up there with the best of them.

I might just try and make one last effort to visit there again someday.

Reports of snow in London on Twitter I assume from those who can't differentiate hail and snow

Afternoon all

Apart from a 10 second blink and you'll miss it shower at about 2pm it is been bone dry all day here at the office in Harefield.  The odd threatening cloud has loomed up but mostly it's been sunny, breezy and distinctly cool.  Maybe I can run into a hailstorm to liven up the tedious drive home.

Tomorrow still looks a bit grim, I don't hold out much hope for the juniors' cricket practice in the evening!

AS

Afternoon AS. Its been quite sunny here most of the afternoon as well, and the showers seem to be avoiding the London area now. Not so sure about that mess tracking down the Nortn Sea though.

Slight risk of wet snow/sleet falling above 150-200m. Minimum temperatures could get down to 2C in rural locations.

A better day today compared to the last week of grey rubbish. Had 2 heavy hail showers but some lovely sunshine in between. Just needs to be 10 degrees warmer and less windy and it would feel feel like its supposed to in late May!

Kingston and Uxbridge both had us skirting the deep thick clouds all day bringing only the odd one-minute shower here and there - kept expecting downpours and thunder, but just as now nothing turned up. Made for an easier drive and shopping in Kingston.
