2.8°C at the moment and holding steady with a DP of 1.0°C, this is also holding steady......

 

Was very surprised at the speed of the temperature drop on my way home from Donny earlier this evening. Annoyingly that DP is still too high at the mo and is refusing to budge. Another 1° and we would likely get a sleety surprise. All we have at the mo is nasty, cold rain sadly.

Lack of posts here tells it's own story.Showers well a lack of them was the killer here although Snow was only a very slight chance here being too low down. I did expect more showers but these didn't materialise either.

A bit more hail today but now just wet and ugly. Today's forecast was not bad compared to very poor one yesterday.

More lightening strikes in one hour than in last year.Disturbed weather at moment here with a persistent squall line pushing in from the s/e.

Bugger. Just rain as it comes over here and then intensifies. Hope there is something for us here tonight as there is a heck of a lot pushing up out of the continent

The fog has been amazing this week hasnt it. I cant remember the last time we had a foggy week?

 

I do like it though, its very moody and mysterious :)

 

Its certainly held the temps down too. BBC was going for about 14C this week and weve managed about 8 or 9 in Sheffield each day. Very cold in the breeze actualy!

 

Shame its not January, it would most likely have been freeezing fog with ice days!

What a nice day it turned out to be here, at least this morning. We had a gorgeous walk above Oxenhope and it was warm enough in the sun to take off our coats and roll up our sleeves - a real feeling of Spring warmth in the air.
