I really don't know if this is allowed to be posted here and if not then I apologise and please remove... but I am on Tour 4 starting on 30th May and I am going to document as much of my experience as I possibly can on a blog and I thought others on the forum might be interested.

So, if you fancy following along with me on Tour 4 why not take a look at...

Also, if anyone has a good tornado pic that you would be happy for me to use at the top then please let me know... I could just use one from the web but I don't like to do that without the copyright holders permission. In fact, I could do with a few so if anyone is happy for me to add their pic to the site just say... proper credit will of course be given if you include that too.

HI Paul, it's always good to see guests blogging, and you can grab any of my shots from Tour 2 in the gallery here to use if you want.  Just credit them to Netweather, and grab a few.

Hey Paul.

Great blog - keep us all posted :)

I'm sure you'll absolutely love the trip - storm chasing out there is just something else. The biggest adventure, the most amazing roadtrip, the best social expierence with people completely stoked about the same thing, and then your draw will hit the floor when you come up on your first supercell!

cheers, Samos :)

Yup... packing tomorrow and train on Wednesday to Heathrow and fly Thursday morning.

I did wonder if you lot were going to leave some storms there for me to see but it looks like the risk further south is picking up again. :)

Tour 4 probably hitting the ground running again to get up to NE/E KS probably.

Although the general pattern then settles down a bit for three days or so, with a ridge exending across the high Plains from the NE, there will almost certainly be storms around and if there are any Mr Sherman will find them.
From Tues/Weds next week I'm thinking another round of W Trough/Gulf moisture feed will develop and the early June CO upslope will really come into play.

Illinois has been mentioned but we'll have a nice 3 day or so gap to get there. If we go any further west I'll be trying to fit in a shopping trip in New York
