Yep same here, another truly gorgeous morning. Botte will never let me live this down but I actually fired up the radiators so that the missus and kid won't wake up to a cold gaffe, sensitive souls that they are.

4.8c with light rain when I left for work at 7am this morning.

I thought it was January! Christmas day was 8c warmer!

The afternoon saw brighter conditions with sunny spells spread in from the NW, though showers quickly followed with heavy ones locally with hail, though this station only saw a few light and blustery showers. Feeling very cool in the fresh and blustery NW wind.

A mainly cloudy and very windy day with frequent but brief light-moderate showers. The wind decreased considerably after 1700 g.m.t but this morning, during a rather squally shower, there was a gust of 64 mph; the highest on record in May.

The local roads are littered with leaves ( which have only just come out ) and twigs.

Occasional mainly light rain and hail showers last night and early morning.

Fresh to strong northerly gusting gale force this afternoon, very cool but became mainly dry. Rather cloudy morning with sunny spells pm.
