Scottish Borders January 1928

I see from an archived thread that the weather which prevailed in the Melrose area of the Scottish Borders on 19 January 1928 has already been given. Can anyone assist by telling me whether the weather was much different in the same area three days earlier - ie on 16 January 1928?
