Another ground frost last night down to 1.3c, yesterdays min was 0.9c, 2c colder than the average min for January 2013 (and only 3.3c higher than Januaries or Februaries absolute low, that more shows the lack of cold mins in winter here). Yesterday was lovely though.

Currently increasing cloud with a fresh/gusty SW breeze, 12.5c after reaching 13.7c at 11am.

Yet another execrable summery morning but with a noticeable breeze and a shield of cirrostratus which isn't doing much to dilute the sun. Watching the advancing rain from the west on the radar is painful, such is its glacial pace. Be dark before we get any here - another day down the tubes.

A lovely start to the day with a fairly reddish sunrise. This made the trees look they were in Autumn. Anyway not as warm as yesterday but plenty of sunshine around.

Apologies Tony, I am getting my days wrong this (long) weekend. doh.gif

Similarly grotty here today, rain arrived at 12 noon and the main front cleared about 6, heavy drizzle for the most part, but grotty enough, and 15mm of rain today.

Also turned quite misty in the past hour or so.
