70% cloudcover and rather cool in that north westerly wind today, certainly not warm enough to sit in the garden as that breeze really is rather chilly.

Cloud is breaking up nicely now in my part of North East Leicestershire, and when the sun comes out it's certainly pleasant enough to be outside!

Windy here in west, 14.5C max so far, still feels like early april

Bit fresher and certainly breezier than yesterday - but have had far worse week ends!

As for the outlook - heat builds, clouds bubble up and the odd one lets loose with a few sparks.Day or night, not fussed whatsoever

Unfortunately not :lol: there is that clear patch moving in from the Irish Sea now ahead of the Irish Cloud though so that should arrive for the tail end of the afternoon.

Yep I can vouch for that too, very nearly cloudless blue skies virtually all day here.

Had some good long spells of sunshine luckily in the end, particularly since 4, as the wind switched more westerly, maxed at 14.8c.

More cloud here than earlier, Still plenty of sunshine though, Good allround evening for everyone although it will start getting quite cool,

So with all that's got a BBQ'S on the go get the sweater and the cardigans on the ready!

Well try this week !!!!, Ok no mega heatwave but looking very nice indeed.

Bright but mostly cloudy this morning, should fair better for sunshine later though and hopefully tomorrow as we lose the north west wind.

 

Charts seem to of backed off the idea of a grey, grim easterly somewhat today with only Wednesday in the murk though i'd advise caution still at this stage, UKMO the best of the bunch with plenty of warm 20-23c sunshine on offer.

Your picture from yesterday looks almost the same ( last page post 9), One thing i will say about today the slight rise in temps make a difference even though its breezy you carn't feel it so much.
