Clear spells for a while last night before turning cloudy again. A cloudy start to the day. Light rain and drizzle commenced around 08:00 GMT. At observation, little change. Cloud persisted through most of the day with a little showery light rain and drizzle. The evening saw a few brighter spells as the cloud began to break a little.

It was a very damp start to the morning with alot of low cloud and Drizzle! But since midday we have had heavy rain on and off, but the rain is actually quite convective as some of the spots has been pretty big.

The cloud thinned at times during the early afternoon allow spells of hazy sunshine but cloud thickened quickly after 1400 g.m.t and there was a spell of intermittent moderate rain from 1520 until about 1815 g.m.t; since then it's become dry and brightened up a bit.

Aniother dreary day - overcast and breezy with patchy light rain again, this time occasionally heavier around late afternoon.  Maximum 17.6, minimum 13.1.  Wind moderate SSW.

A mostly cloudy day with occasional bright spells before turning overcast with moderate rain for a time in the evening. The last few hours saw partly cloudy conditions before a heavy shower in the last 30 minutes. It actually turned out to be the warmest day since 6th May and the highest minima since last September.

Weather Report Isle of Wight 23:35pm:

 

Today's Overall summery: Well its been a rather interesting day, the day started mostly cloud, with just the odd glimpse of the sun just before 9:30am. Then the cloud thickened and was eventually under full cloud cover. However with this came a lot of low cloud, mist and Drizzle. The cloud was in for the rest of the day.

Into the Afternoon, a couple of heavy showers developed ahead of the main band of rain from the South West, one of the showers was extremely heavy at one point, which was pretty cool too see. However after I finished work, the main band had just set in, and unfortueatly I had to play bowls in this. As the Evening went on, the rain got really quite heavy, and combined with this was some very strong winds, touching almost gale force at times. It wasn't pleasant at all to be honest.

 

Current Weather Now: There is still a lot of cloud about, and there is still drizzle faliing, infact heavy Drizzle. There is also still a rather strong wind too. Apart from this, it is fairly mildish too.
