Clear spells overnight leading to a bright start with hazy sunny spells. By observation cloud had increased to almost overcast with just a little weak sunshine. Showers broke out by the end of the morning, these turning moderate and prolonged by afternoon, only brief spells of sunshine. The evening saw the showers clear, though remaining mostly cloudy. Breezy throughout, feeling cool.

Quite bright early on with some decent sunny spells, there was a period of rain early afternoon of about 30 minutes which brought a lot of cloud, and the cloud stuck around for much of the afternoon, with a few sunny intervals this evening,

 

Disappointingly cool for summer, especially in the breeze temp around 14c.

[Stargazer]

Windy all day; dry with sunny spells in the morning then heavy showers with some thunder merging into a spell of heavy rain by mid-afternoon, finally clearing by 4pm.  We were running a stall at Reading Water Fest by the canal and soon discovered that our gazebo wasn't very waterproof which with the wind gave us rather challenging conditions.  Maximum 17.8, minimum 11.7. Wind fresh SW.

 

Yesterday: dry and breezy with sunny intervals.  Maximum 19.7, minimum 12.9.  Wind moderate W.

 

Been running round this evening trying to buy some waterproofing spray for the gazebo because the forecast isn't too promising for tomorrow and we're doing another festival (eventually succeeded).  Just found out that it might actually stay dry
