Breezy and dry overnight with a few cloud breaks. Bright so far this morning with sunny spells. Sunny spells continued though morning though became increasingly hazy as high cloud thickened. By afternoon the sun was mostly hidden behind a veil of Cirro and Altostratus, this just giving a few spots of light rain. By late afternoon and early evening a clearance arrived allowing sunny spells. Feeling pleasant for the most part.

Then this afternoon turned out considerably better as cloud cleared with a period of warm sunshine between 2 and 5pm. More cloud has arrived from the south since then but off the light variety, mainly altocumulus and stratocumulus.

It was indeed a grey (and slightly damp) start to the day here too, light rain @ 05:40-07:00, but once the morning got going, so did the warm sun, turned out very nice in the end.
