A day of two halves. A dull dreary start with dampness in the air, feeling chilly in the morning. Then this afternoon turned out considerably better as cloud cleared with a period of warm sunshine between 2 and 5pm. More cloud has arrived from the south since then but off the light variety, mainly altocumulus and stratocumulus.

Day's Rain: 0.0mm

It was indeed a grey (and slightly damp) start to the day here too, light rain @ 05:40-07:00, but once the morning got going, so did the warm sun, turned out very nice in the end.
