It's suddenly got quite warm here - could be a good sign for some action later and you never know we might even see a T storm too !

GFS is going for temperatures in the high 20's on Wednesday even at mid day

UKMO has temperatures in the low 20's at 13:00 UK time so maybe 25c max by mid afternoon for the hottest part of the day

Big differences there between the 2 models even at this late stage

Warmest day of the year here, peaking at 21.8c at 12:45. Currently 20.7c with sunny spells...watching French radars with interest and hoping something stormy heads our way - avoiding Tamara, Tom and Jan (I think?) as none of you like them Posted Image

I think everything is going to hinge on the cloud if it breaks temperatures will rocket if it doesn't they'll be stuck in the mid 20's

Phew!! It's bloomin muggy. :O I'm sure we must get some storms tonight. Or is that wishful thinking. It's 15c here but I'm sure it's warmer than that. It was very warm in Norwich as well, but had to put my jacket on in Oulton Broad. Very stiff breeze there.

Currently 21c here and slowly rising. It looks as though the imported storms are heading north west, aiming for Devon and Cornwall if they survive The Channel crossing.

It's not muggy here, K. In fact, the afternoon sea breeze has made it feel decidedly nippy...

Hope it's not going to be like last year, wind all the time. Was nice in the sun though, is this humidity due later?

It feels quite humid here this eve out west. Windy too. Didnt seem so windy out at canary wharf.. Train was warm too as air con seemed to have packed in and it's the type of trains where u can't open the windows.

I think it maybe setting itself up here in Essex. Last time I saw cloud like the stuff to the South of us was at Glastonbury in 2005. A few hours before the mother of all storms hit.

A nice array of storms there, but they are splitting NW and NE, missing the vast majority of Southern England altogether, apart perhaps from the tip of Devon and Cornwall ?
