A few bright and sunny spells developed for a time, but more thick cloud arrived before observation producing light rain and drizzle. Staying mainly cloud with moderate showers through the morning. The afternoon saw some brighter spells, though with further showers in the area, which continued in to the evening.

Yesterday evening was dry but further showery rain moved in from the W/NW during the early hours, the showers merging into continuous light-moderate rain from about 0300 g.m.t.

Currently cloudy with continuous light-moderate rain.

Heavy morning showers gave way to somewhat drier conditions after lunch although there is still the occasional spell of drizzle being blown on a gusty north westerly.

Temp has only reached 14.9c and it sounds like some of the neighbours may have their heating on.
