A very interesting thing just cropped up when I watched Ian F's forecast on BBC Points west from Friday.

He mentioned that the hazy skies over Friday and the weekend were likely the result of forest fires in Quebec, the smoke has been trapped under the high giving these hazier skies. It was certainly very notable.

We just can't escape the pollution in this country can we?
