The wind has picked right up all of a sudden, flashes mush brighter and just starting to hear the first rumbles in the distance.

Hi guys just having some very strong winds here on the coast, its no tornado but I had to jump back into my car

thing getting tossed about and all

I was shooting whith my SLR and notice a long thin bank of cloud heading towards me then it hit.

It was buffeting the car quite bad totally unexpected

Unless I was looking at the right time as I can't see much again now but it was 2 flashes.

I really don't want to go out tonight as I want to save my petrol for tomorrow night with more severe/widespread storm potential but if it carries on like this I'll be itching for a car ride south.I don't think it will get this far north though but I wait to be proven wrong.
