Going VERY dark to my NE/E now, looking towards Manchester direction....

Humidity has picked up last half hour as well

Must be the cell thats currently over Runcorn/ Frodsham. Not electrical but looks convective at least...

Hi all,

First time posting in here.

This was looking out to my south-west (irish sea).

Lots of nice looking showers forming around us here, but nothing two interesting, better than the last couple of days though.

I think it's NNE. Looked ready to explode a minute ago! (it won't though haha) But definitely a LOT more unstable around here than the last few days

Some showers bubbling up in the north west, I'll be keeping an eye on those.

 

The convection here today is quite strong, as is the sun so it could be an interesting day.

Looks to be linked with an area of CAPE around the NW Midlands

 

 

Along with some wind convergence

Very possible yes as there is already stuff forming and there is a small area of convergence here at the moment.

Listening out for the first sferic here. I wonder how long i'll have to wait lol.

Eyes out anyone to the NE of me. A patch of deeper convection sailing past just to my east. Rapidly darkening cloud base as it does so. It's part of the same structure that could be seen in my picture I posted a page or so back.

Sure enough, that cloud is now a cell just to the E of here on latest radar grab.

hi guys and gals, not been here today so thought i would find out what the chances for storms not only for mby but for everyone, had a few rumbles and flashes here around 9.30 last night but that was all.

Someone is going to get drenched soon. That cell to the E showing some signs of increasing instability

Me from the looks of it, I'm right in their track.

 

Lets see if the hills here force intensification as that does happen frequently with this kind of setup.

 

It is getting very dark here now as well though it feels very calm.
