Excellent little storm just passed through North London, South Essex & South Herts (London Boarders).... Next one is incoming, looks a little less intense - but lets see what occurs!

Storm pushing into Chelsford area now.

A nice little storm just ratteld through Nw London with torrential rain and a few lightning bolts and rumbles of thunder. I have converted my near neighbours in to storm watchers now, we were all out the front watching it together, the youngest being just 3 years old.

July 2013 is the month that just keeps giving weather wise.

Evening all,

Look BB,  just because I called you Roman Abramovich the other day, you dont need to set up your own Brontophile academy.

What's up, you frightened of spending a few bob then?

Have had a corker of a headache  this afternoon and being a wuss, had to do the "lying down in a dark room" thingy.

Had to get up to do Antony his dinner but the smell of food, isnt doing me any favours. Any migraine sufferers amongst you, know how debilitating they can be.

Thundery showers not far away now, hope it clears the air and my head.

Tom.

Was a perfect clear afternoon here on the sunshine coast. Temperature hit 21 celcius. Just right for the gardening and couple of beers after.

Hope you had a very Happy Birthday Ruthie. The earlier storm was nothing special but I did hopefully manage to capture a close c-g strike on video. The radar looks interesting to the west of us, but will it make it all the way here ??

I'm picking up some sferics on the trusty old mw radio, but hopes are fading fast.

Evening Tom. The Academy is progressing quite nicely now thank you. No skulduggery here, we play by the Financial Fair Play Rules !!

The radar looked so promising for this part of town an hour ago, but that cell out west looks like it's picked up an injury, and has thrown in the towel.

Still plenty to play for this week though, with the storm threat coming from all directions. Posted Image
