Sorry for the postal diarrhoea....seems the fields of AcCas have bloomed into electrified cells - can see a few around :-)

A small convective shower and then a short thundery shower this morning during my early morning walk...some nice anvils and fast growing Cumulus with pileus in places...nice radar blob heading for Brighton - keep an eye on that one

Big Acas field here, lots of towers shooting up to my S and SW, especially a particularly fast developing one in the S

At work in Brighton with more thunder constantly rumbling. Not had a direct hit yet - but cells keep developing. Promising.

Looks as though much of the activity is clearing here now, bar a particularly nice looking cell of the S Coast...development I saw was quite rapid with cells becoming very quickly electrified. Shame I couldnt take any photos.

Well according to radar I should be under a storm with v heavy rain and lots of sferics. In reality it's bone dry, not heard any thunder and its just grey. What's going on lol?!

Only one rumble here so far. Seems like lightning activity over central London has ceased which is a annoying as it looked like it was destined for me.

The radar doesn't show anything over Staines at the moment. Earlier on some smaller storms passed just to the east of you though by a few miles or so.

Down here I got woken up a while ago by a surprise torrential shower with huge drops. Was brief though only giving 0.4mm

Apologies to the SE Essex Folks, you did have 3 Storms last week but I AM BACK NOW! Hahaha

Missed everything, totally dry here with Storms to the East and West, Mainly elevated anyways with IC Lightning and a few CG's would imagine, as others have said with some surface heating it could get lively further North and North West from the home counties later on.

Will say this, some stunning cloud formations today with what looks like Undulatus on a few occasions
