Blimey, you've had enough excitement. Go and have a lie down.

Nothing here. Bit of sun, bit of fluffy cloud. Just about to go in, as the breeze has picked up.

Thunder again here now! More lightning this time. Sky signal has gone and rain is picking up. I've come to the conclusion that radar watching jinxes my storm chances. As soon as I stop watching - a storm arrives.

Edit: PS legritter - glad to have you back. Hope you feel better soon.

The lot that was on the radar in the Channel heading for the Isle of Wight passed over here but with no more than a few spits & spots of rain, sun is out again now, well for now anyway lol.

Hey there.... We have some lightning here in good old Truro . Happy days :-)

Fantastic to see W Kernow enjoying some storms. Thankfully looks like me may soon get some here back in the W Mids. :)

Looking at the radar it seems the next lot coming up from the south west may just skirt to our West and head into SE Wales as well.

I think Karl has the right idea. Head to the Severn Bridge area with a clean view across the Severn. With daylight starting to fade now you could get a decent light show across the Severn in the next few hours.

That's where I would be heading if I wasn't working.

The cloud formation just to the West/North West of my house is massive.

Someone somewhere is going to see a massive storm i'd think.

Cant be more than a few miles from here.

It's still way out to our west, Mumbles and not making any significant progress eastwards atm.

Couldn't get up to the view point unfortunately. Looks like we may get something a bit later on up here. Maybe.

Thunder and lightning having a good go over the Bristol Channel. Can see it flashing away from Yatton but I need more height as the cloud base is quite low and far away.

Gone black here - my lightning detector now says only 10km to my West.

Looks like we could be about to see some 'action' pretty soon.

SE Wales currently getting battered by thunder and lightning, according to members in Wales thread

I bet if a map of the west country was marked with all the storms in the past week or so you would see a small hole in the middle of Somerset.
