Morning all

Had a poor nights sleep last night, think the humidity was the culprit there, had to shut the main windows because of the direction the rain was coming.

Well it did brighten up earlier, but that did not last long, back to dull and breezy, there are a few hints of sunshine though.

20.5oC in the shed right now.

Morning all

The sun has been attempting to break through here at the office in Harefield for the last hour and if it does so then I think it will warm up quite nicely this afternoon.  As K says above, it does feel quite humid - at home in Reigate the humidity is at 85% according to the RGS weather station, and 19.1c.

Home alone tonight before joining the family in Brighton tomorrow evening, so you might get more wittering than usual from me if I can fit it in between the ironing, decorating, cleaning, hoovering, gardening Indian takeaway!

Morning BB and all,

It will become more clear with time, honest, trust me on that! Very briefly, our region would be split into 4 mini regions (leagues), NW, NE, SW and SE. Which league you'd be in would be determined by where your location was in respect of the physical barrier of the Thames and the Greenwich Meridian.

Your good self, being north of the Thames and west of the Meridian, would be in the NW league, I on the other hand, being south of the Thames and east of the Meridian would be in the SE league and up against the likes of................ Biggin Hill. Mmm, not sure about that, think I might have to do some Gerrymandering, there! You then of course add up the number of cups of tea/coffee, you have in a week, divide by the number in your household and add it to any snow depth, that may have accumulated, in any snow event. The winners of the 4 leagues then go into a draw to create 2 Semi-Finals and then of course a Final. Simples! Posted Image

BB, do you think you could let me have some of your medication, as my supply of catnip has just finished, my surgery's out of Prozac and it's been a bad time to give up solvents. Btw, how are Brontophiles Utd, coming along? Ready for our next encounter?

Meanwhile, cloudy and feels pretty muggy here this morning. Time for a cuppa.

Tom.

Tomas, woaah, slow down Mr HarePosted Image

KISS is the motto here I thinkPosted Image And first the weather gods have to be on our side anyway and they can't be pre-empted in the August slow seasonPosted Image

Lets wait for Jan's LRF later in the autumn..but its far too early for that and she needs time to pull the analysis together when reliable data becomes available Posted Image

Well what happened to the sun? it started to look promising then it was gone again.  Very muggy still, even with the strong breeze.

It's tipping it's hat nicely here now with a slight breeze it's turned out alright so far.

Hi Tams,

I prefer RUSH to KISS, actually??? KISS, che?

Joking aside, I'm just throwing a few ideas out there, for later on and wont mention it, for a few weeks now.

Btw, does our Bromley Jan, do the LRFs now, way to go nursey, go girl! Posted Image

Only joking, Tamarina!

Very muggy, here in Croydon!

Tom.

Lovely sunny skies in mid-Sussex with a brisk wind bringing some heavier cloud in from the North.

Still cloudy in Eastbourne with no word yet on the flying activities for today, they are set to commence about now.

Pretty heavy rain here at the moment, the time it took me to get from upstairs to the back kitchen was the time it took for half the kitchen to flood!

Not wonderful tomorrow I'm afraid. Looks to be cloudy with some light rain and that continues into Saturday on and off. Sunday is the best day if you compare MetO and GFS

Just popped out for my tea break, here in Croydon, still muggy and quite dark away to our W, with a little rain looking imminent as those showers to our W/NW,edge closer.

Pretty nice day here overall. Mostly sunny, high of about 23c and not too humid (66% high). No rain at all - could do with some as I hate watering the garden.

May need to think about putting the roof back on. Or turning the taps off Posted Image

Been a warm and humid day here, sun making the odd showing, and a few light short showers too, already prepped the cooler for tonight.
