    Slightly less cool last night, good long spells of sunshine through this morning though mostly cloudy from 12-5pm (overcast from 2-3pm, around 70-90% coverage rest of the time) then increasingly sunny after that, currently fairly clear although some mid/high level cloud.

    • Exceptional warmth for western Europe as October begins

      There'll be exceptionally warm temperatures for the time of year affecting much of western Europe during the coming days, but that warmth will only graze the UK for now.
