Clear spells overnight. Shallow fog patches early this morning burnt off quickly in good sunny spells. The day stayed dry with long spells of sunshine feeling very warm.

I guess today is summers last stand and once again I seem to have missed out on the hot weather the south is basking in.Disappointment is the word that springs to mind.

Still a better day than late giving plenty of spells of sunshine or hazy sun between plenty of cloud.Max 20 deg,nice but nothing like the temps in the south! that just sums up 2013 in this area!

After a resh misty start to the day, it soon cleared and clear blue skies for much of the day, late afternoon some fair weather cloud bubbled up with cumulus clouds developing around sunset. Wind currently 4mph NNW, todays high was 29.3c. Currently 16c and dropping fast!
