Morning folks,

 

Dry and bright here too. (Mind you, yesterday started like that, and look how it turned out! Feeling more optimistic about today though.) Current temp: 12.1°

As much as I love autumn, I'll admit to welcoming the forecast in-coming high pressure. That change from summer to autumn was just too abrupt - even for me.

Britain battered by giant waves ahead of first big frost of autumn tonight (but temperatures set to rise above 20C by the weekend)

[*]North of England will see first frost of the season before weather picks up on Thursday

[*]South East faces a warm week with temperatures of 24C but it is windy in Midlands, Wales and North today

[*]Scotland will remain rainy according to Met Office forecast for the next few days

Quite a nice day here so far with some sunshine, but chilly though at 14C. Not put on heating yet this Autumn, gonna hold out as long as possible! Off to the allotment to clean up some dying veg. Looking forward to that weekend/next week warmth :)

Evening all,

 

Just one more hour of work for me and then I'm done until 8am in the morning.....thank goodness I have a spag bol being cooked for me and after tomorrow a nice long weekend to relax and recover !

 

Question for John please.....do I need to pack a mac or take a brolly ?

On the weather side of things - It's hasn't been too bad here today, after a bright start it turn overcast, but atleast no rain fell today. Hoping for some sun tomorrow though, and as the weekend progresses I might even get the shorts out again...😄

Off to update my apple products to iOS7 now, so baring no catatstrophic problems I'll be back in a while 😄

however mk keep your eye out as a slim chance of the odd shower in brum

 

see the fax chart with a decaying front over there (maybe nothing but there none the same)

 

a point about the outlook

 

i am seeing things being shoved further south by the fax charts

 

this could cause changes in the medium term

 

also tues on lets hope that low does not target us with north east to easterly flows

 

that still would have cloudy yuk for us if it does

more likely misty and cloudy am the far south east
