continuos, torrential rain has been lashing down for bout an hour in Ipswich and yet it still continues- i got absolutey drenched outside. This follows heavy, persisant showers all day with one or two sunny spells dotted in. All in all though, a miserable day here not even any thunder or lightning to make up for it :cry:

Gloriously sunny end to a day that started as a washout with heavy showers to begin with, but with the days being so long at the moment plenty of time to turn it around, and it did. BBQ weather almost at the end of the day.

A fine summers day so far with loads of sunshine after a :shock: min of 6c :!:

There are a lot of convective clouds with dark bases developing to the north and east while south and west remains quite clear. See storms and extreme weather thread.
