Dry and quite sunny for most of the day. The sea breeze has seen to that! 8)8)

Not nearly as hot as you've got it Rade; more like 15C!! :(8) :cry:

amidst all the excitment of the southern half of the country on the storms forum,

for morecambe bay i can report hazy sun and a mixture of cirrus and cumulus clouds. breezy too, but

unusually the wind is from the southeast. being only a couple of miles from the sea,

our prevailing wind is an ever present westerly.

Wind has picked up again and now it really is raining.

Went to walk the dog, only half an hour tonight - he looks like a water rat and my jeans were so heavy I thought I would have to hail a boat, just to get me home.

It has been the wettest day of 2004 so far here beating the 14mm that fell on 18th April. Quite Sunny at first. Then as the morning wore on It became increasingly windy and cloudy with outbreaks of heavy Rain arriving just after 3pm. Stormy would be a accurate description. The temperature really did drop rapidly and at one stage during the Rainfall it went down to the day's Minimum of 12.5c. This was around 4.30pm. Then this evening there were Heavy Showers during the past few hours
