No reporting area for the 2nd of july yet so i will post my storm report here  

At around 2.30am a large thunderstore pasted over Portmouth with some great lightning with A couple of CG lots of IC and even saw a CC.  

No photos though sorry

Looking good to my west AGAIN..developing hefty showers,darkening base.Sferics are showing W.Ireland ,Scotland's turn later no doubt..

Nasty thunderstorm/shower here at mo. Constant thunder lightning every min in this shower. Very strong gusts :shock:

Had a Very Large Thunderstorm pass just to the south of me heading east, unfortunatly only heard a few rumbles of thunder because we havent had much Sun to heat the ground up enough this morning, but it would have been an Intense storm if it had a bit of ground heating

Just had an amazing thunderstorm on the way home from my holiday. Frequent thunder and lightning, hail intermixed with the rain, driving winds and some very dark skies. It was all topped of with a great view of an anvil on top of the Cb

Apparently there was some torrential rain and loud thunder at Muir of Ord a short while back? :shock: :shock:

And, I think we have something moving our way too. The wind is from SSW up here just now!!

just back from down the town and got caught in a heavy hail shower. Heavy showers keep passing every 20 minutes or so with a few rumbles of thunder

one more storm today- very short though. Some lightning but strangely more thunder which i didnt mind some heavy rain but only lasted around 15 minutes. sky is dark agen now though and i expect alot more activity this evening and 2nite

had extremely torrential rain and lightning and thunder for an hour while i was at work- it was very good to watch and helped pass by the time :roll: i seem to have been treated 2 storms recently

Bit late yesterday had two heavy showers one of which produced half a dozen loud rumbles of thunder no lightning seen tho

Apologies for the late report, but an amazing evening yesterday here in East Suffolk.

First storm moved in just before 16:30 and after a brief break a huge multi-cellur storm moved in at 17:45 with intense rainfall, a lot of lightning and thunder along with hail thrown in for good measure.

Another storm moved through at 20:00 and it finally cleared by 20:45.

After all that, we had 23mm of rainfall in just a couple of hours or so.
