    I don't know whether this has been posted before. Apologies if so.

     

    To celebrate a decade of success of this ambitious spacecraft, the European Space Agency has released a pretty cool video created from Mars Express images and topographical data… allowing you, the viewer to see what it’s like to fly over Mars!

    Fantastic - definitely out of this world - the interesting thing is, what were the white patches? Ice or frozen CO2? - they appeared similar to the snow patches on north faces slopes of our Northern hemisphere.
