Bottomed out at 1.4c.

Am I correct in thinking an air frost cannot be called until the air temp is 0.0c or below?

The air temperature has to be -0.1c or lower to count as an air frost; 0.0c doesn't count.

A clear and sunny start here with a gentle W breeze. Full report in an hour or so when I've done all the readings.

A few showers continued until around midnight but they were light and any heavier ones, as with the whole of yesterday, were a few miles to the north. Once the showers had gone the cloud dispersed to leave a clear second half of the night with the second ground frost of the season recorded.

I knew I shouldn't have reset my weather station last night, my pressure gauge is massively out.

The wireless went down last night just as it got cold!

Just checked wunderground and it shows 1022mb for Benfleet
