A cold dry mostly clear night with odd patchy cloud and a slight ground frost, An overnight low of 0.7c.

 

Currently; Dry, clear, with light winds. A lovely blue glow on the horizon.

Currently -0.8c after an overnight low of -2.1c, interesting how the first frost of the season is a decent air frost.

Strong south-westerly winds continued through to the early hours, gradually falling off moderate to fresh by dawn, staying mostly clear. Sunny so far this morning, feeling chilly in the brisk westerly wind. Further sunny spells through the morning, though cloud built enough to produce showers in the area by early afternoon, some of these were heavy locally, this station only caught a brief light shower. There was a short spells of light rain around mid to late evening, clearing after midnight.

The first half of the night was dry but cloudy, the cloud clearing during the early hours to allow a widespread ground frost despite the breeze.

An air frost the same night as our first ground frost -1deg min,had to scrape a good coat on windscreen,a mainly nice sunny day max 9deg
