When ah were a lud, we made do with heavy-duty dustbin bags...Posted Image

Empty plastic bags for coal was a good one. Just fill them up with a bit of snow, was just like sitting on a bean bag, plus you could just stick em in your pocket after.

One of the best sledging experiences I had was when a neighbour bought home a car bonnet from a local scrap yard and four of us careered down one of the local hills on it for a few hours. I felt more like a 5 year old than a 50 year old at the time. There is something about snow that seems to bring out the child in us.Posted Image

Hi Blue we have all done some silly things mine was a canoe down the slopes on the sea front straight through the back wall of a beach hut!!! but on a serious note I think it was last year when a group of girls did the bonnet lid thing (I think) and at least 1 died so be careful everyone!!

GFS has a shortwave over UK with back edge snowfall for SW midlands and close to SE. Interesting ;) for Tuesday into Wednesday.

Do they have a BOGOF offer on these

Maybe I should open a nice new squeeky clean thread before all the toilet jokes start filling this one up to the rim, I almost wish I hadn't mentioned it now (I'm feeling a bit flushed) Posted Image

I'll sort something out and post a link in a moment - please hold on (posting charts etc) I'll be back in a wee while Posted Image

No need to hurry, I'm sure you have plenty of things to whizz through. Or if you think posts have crossed the line, maybe some posts should be slashed from the thread Posted Image

Love it - I just decided to read this model thread everyone's on about Posted Image  why does everyone get so stressed over something that hasn't happened Posted Image

If I was in charge of one of these runs I'd deliberately run a barmy one to mess with their heads Posted Image

Think that's what happened with the ECM this morning lol.
