I think the spell of cold weather and snow, was pretty good though Rob McElwee doing the broadcasts was brilliant, his humour and charisma for forecasts is to be admired, shame he isn't on our screens anymore,now in the background at the Met Office.

I hope you have a video of 5th January, i keep searching youtube and the one that there was of the BBC weather had been took down for copyright reasons or something!

Here is a BBC Northwest report from 2nd January on the wintry weather. What I remember from that day was a wintry mix of sleet,snow and hail. It cleared in the afternoon and turned icy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gl2MyXRfWSE

 

02 Jan, I remember, I was too low for snow, did have heavy wet snow, sleet and mainly just rain, if i remember a mild sector moved through
