Very light snow blowing in a stiff northerly here at the moment along the coastline of NE England. Radar showing heavier showers to come.

Slight covering on cars, grass & roofs early this morning, sometime between 5 & 6. Froze solid & still around on grass which hasn't been exposed to the sun.

Some wintry showers this morning, with some heavy snow showers just after 9am, which gave a decent covering, however this subsequently thawed in the sun and the rising afternoon temps.

A period of wet snow in SW Sheffield on Wednesday evening -- huge wet flakes covering surfaces and cars, but all gone this morning.
