Thoughts on Pre Chase Meet up?

good Morning all!

 

i hope we are all well!

 

Part of the annual calendar for me includes the Following:

 

1. Pre-Chase Meet up

 

2. Chasing!

 

3. Post Chase BBQ

 

4.Xmas Curry

 

Now, i haven't been to all of them but numbers 1 & 2 would be my favorite choices and it does break up the year and takes me away from my usual grind!

 

Ian Cameron normally takes the reigns on this one but he cannot commit to it this year so...................I don't mind looking, arranging, organizing things in order for us to meet up for a good old chin wag and a shandy!

 

Birmingham night out was ace! cheap digs, casino, easy to get to for most. good beer and a little dance!  Now  if anyone wants to do the same then lets do it! if not, we could visit Liverpool if you really really wanted to OR Manchester..i know you guys went before myself and Sarah were part of the club and you basically stayed in the Printworks...this time we could go outside and we could show you some nice watering holes!

 

if anyone is interested, please post here and we can get an idea of how many people would turn up and start the ball rolling!

How does this sound?

Manchester is easy to get to. Train is popular! Start night and meet everyone at waxy O'Connors. I can sort an area out for us to meet inside! Few beers in there. Then on to deansgate for food at red hot world buffet, it's ace. Again needed numbers so I can book a table! From here we are on deansgate! Plenty of bars and pubs. One next door to food called slug and lettuce! Sarah needs her pornstar martini fix!

Eventually work our way up to revolution de Cuba. Bar/club thing on until 3am ! Across the road to the casino! Robert is your mothers brother! Thoughts?

after looking at hotel prices its looking like Manchester will be a miss!  Birmingham was nice and central for all of us i think so how a bout the £47 travelodge where we stayed last time?

 

1st March rooms are £47 now!

 

do something similar like last year?

I'm new to this and would really like to come to the pre-tour meet up to meet everyone!

 

Is this for all tours for for individual tours? Myself and Laura are on Tour 1. We live in Fareham so would be a bit of a trek for us but still want to come! xx

Manchester and Birmingham on Saturday 29th March.

 

we did Birmingham last year and had a giggle!  the Travelodge hotels are £34 per room there which is a winner but we want to go to somewhere different hence the Manchester option!

 

Trains run regularly between Euston and Manchester and only take 2 hours!

Hi Christine, good to have you on board! I have chased in the USA twice, in 2011 and 2012.

 

These events are always a great laugh and well worth the effort - last year in Birmingham a few of us we ended up in the casino after a night at an 80s disco! And the Travelodge bar had to kick us out early hours of the morning....

 

Really looking forward to another super weekend! 

 

PS I see you guys are heading up from Fareham. I will be travelling up from London by train - an extra travel buddy if you want one!

I have spoken to Laura and she is up for coming to Manchester on the 1st March, so we'll start to make plans! Yes certainly you can join us on the train, i'll bet you've got a tonne of stories to tell!!
