Thought of Autum just going

[The PIT]

A mild wet one mainly due to October being mild and wet.

September was dry with temperatures just below normal and very dry.

October very wet with 143.7mm of rain and 1.5C above normal temperature wise.

The wet weather continued in November which initially looked like being another very wet month. However after mid month it dried up and is now looking like it will be a dry month.

Another Autumn where there wasn't any autumn storms. Highest gust here 48 mph although there were quite a few breezy days. Breezy enough to remove the majority of the leaves before they could turn golden.

November brought the first sleet and the first snow plus the first air frosts.

Overall here not one that you would tell your grand kids about.

To be fair, there aren't many autumns you would tell your grandkids about. The only one which springs to mind for me is 2000 with its record-breaking rainfall.
