    upper cloud breaking after v slight rain as front cleared south about 0410-20, min was 5.3C around midnight before the front arrived, bit of a breeze from the NW

    Apart from the odd cloud break last evening, allowing a slight ground frost, another dry and cloudy mild night. At observation, dry, cloud thinning, bright spells. Dry with sunny spells today, feeling chilly in the moderate westerly wind.

    Nothing more than a few spots of light rain during the early hours of this morning as the fragmenting cold front moved south.

    The cloud was already beginning to clear from the north by 0900 and there were lengthy sunny periods from mid-morning onward.

    The early evening has been clear with a slight ground frost despite the moderate W breeze.
