dry with another lovely sunrise, orange to pink, mostly Sc but some Ac patches above this, a low of 3.3C

more like a normal value that the 9.7C yesterday!

Clear spells developed after the rain last evening allowing a touch of ground frost to develop. The morning so far, cloud increasing, bright spells, ground frost lifted.

Clear overnight before cloud moved in by sunrise. The daylight hours were then mostly cloudy with occasional bright spells before turning overcast during the last couple of hours. Slightly above average temperatures overnight but turning very mild during the afternoon and evening.

Last night was dry with long clear periods but cloud increased from the south west towards dawn only to break and disperse again by 0930 to allow sunny spells during mid-morning. High and medium level cloud increased steadily from the south west during the late morning and the afternoon was dry but cloudy with light rain eventually arriving around 1630.

The wind increased steadily during the day and was close to gale force by late afternoon.
