The first half of the night was mild, cloudy and windy with periods of light rain and a gust of 51 mph at 2122. The rain and cloud  cleared shortly after midnight and the wind decreased enough to allow a ground frost by the early hours.

A few brief sunny intervals to start this morning but high and medium level cloud is increasingly quickly and also it's become foggy since 0915.
