Hello everyone. Been a long time since I posted here.

The Utd game that's just been stopped with the hailstorm. Very unusual to get hail like that in frontal rain.

Hope everyone's well.

Still waiting for the main action to start. We've only had a few wee gusts but pressure has really plummeted now 959 and falling. Not looking too clever is it? Stay safe everyone!

Getting a bit blustery now and quite a bit of rain. Lights have been flicking on and off for about an hour. Stay safe.

"O little town of Bethlehem" in the snow last weekend.

Photograph taken from "the Shepherds fields" where the birth of Jesus was announced 2,000 years ago to those humble shepherds!

Drookit ! Nice walk across Edinburgh Park to get train, wind howling through exposed area and caught in equally shower, reminiscent of when Katla poured through. Train being buffeted by wind too.

Some amazing radar return this evening. New jargon alert LEWP, line echo wave patterns. Squall lines.

Stay safe folks !

Temperature dropped quite quickly here since the back end of the rain passed through after 8pm. Hope the trend continues.

A happier Xmas song tonight, which wouldn't be difficult. By 'The Flaming Lips' and called 'Christmas At The Zoo'. Taken from 1995's 'Clouds Taste Metallic'.

Enjoy!Posted Image

Nowt much to speak of here yet. Temp 8.9c/WSW/19.4mph/gust of 25.4mph. Only had a couple of heavy bursts of rain as it did it's usual and split N-S. Looks as if the rain has been and gone for now at least.

That's the squall line just moving out into the North Sea at Berwick, bit to get rid of in Aberdeenshire and then it's back to the West coast for the next wind installment tonight.
