Mentioned snow and showed the graphics but her biggest smile was when she said that weekend temperatures will be back in double figures.

Move to the North West and get boring weather presented by a boring weather presenter. That said though nowt boring about it just now, rain pounding on the windows and the trees bending with the wind.Just need it to turn to snow and Bingo.

She's says it within her limited meteorological knowledge which is negligible.

so your saying she goes up there and says what she wants? She gets her information from good sources im sure. Just because she doesnt say its going to jaffa cakes down with shed loads of snow!!!! Her forecast was spot on IMO even if she is a crap presenter

8.4c at at present so we've a hell of a cold front to pass through before any signs of wet turning to white.

Still hopeful of a covering up here tomorrow though, just a shame it will soon disappear as the next depression pushes the colder air away again.

Nothing too drastic here yet, just moderate rain with whippy winds - must be moderating somewhat as it tracks eastwards.

She may get from good sources but ultimately she puts in her own words. It's not scripted and hence why she makes gaffes at times. For instance despite good sources as you put it, she once said we had clearing skies during the day when infact it was the exact opposite! She says despite the rain and cloud it will be a mild night, well that is precisely why it is a mild night during winter!

Rain eased off here now and the wind has died down a bit but still feel that there is more interest left in this event before it clears off to the east.

And the classic one I heard went something like heavy rain throughout the day and cloudy at times.

Shoosh, we dont want anyone at the BBC to read this and as a result our license fees go up even more so they can have qualified Meteorologists presenting regional forecasts per se although it does seem strange that some regions get highly qualified presenters and some get presenters with no meteorological qualifications whatsoever!!

Sadly Eno is more focussed on participating in that excruciating, inane banter interchange the presenters have at the end of North West tonight that the weather comes to us in a rather fragmented and non-serious kind of manner.  She went on so much about wanting to do the presenting from Bethlehem tonight, part of me was thinking maybe a one-way ticket wouldn't be too much of a price to pay for license fee payers.
