Well seen as I'm absolutely hopeless at these predictions and whatever I predict the opposite happens, I'll go for 9.8c.

 

On a serious note I'm expecting a very wintry first half to January at least, then a milder slot before it turns much colder at the latter end of the month. 2.0c

Yeah the glory years of July 2007-June 2013 were just a cool blip in an ongoing and worsening mild horror show.

I'm going to go a touch lower than my LRF punt to 2.7C as the cold *may* start a little earlier than I initially anticipated - a cool zonal type start but with an increasingly chilly feel even into the CET zone, with eventually a more January 2013-like pattern of not all that deep cold but lots of potential battleground snowfall events into mid month, with a proper blocking setup and deep cold establishing by month's end (I hope).

going by the current output there's no sign of cold and from lot of the info regarding the ecmf 32 day output looks like it's going for zonal. So taking all that into acount i'm gona go for 5.2c.
