Clear periods alternating with cloudy spells overnight, the cloud thick enough to produce one or two light showers during the early hours. Thick fog developed shortly after 0700 but this has begun to thin in the last few minutes.

Only the second air frost of the month last night.

No frost this morning like we had yesterday, but still rather cold out, even now TBH, have had a light shower of rain early on but remains dry since, but dull and overcast, and little or no breeze (but that will change later).

Thick fog to start the day but this cleared temporarily from the high ground from around 0930 until 1230 and it was sunny at times. The fog returned by 1300 and persisted, to one degree or another, for the rest of the day.

A rather cold day but I've no doubt the maximum will occur overnight as the rain moves in from the west.
