    Back to stormy weather. Light Rain at times overnight raining now. Two bands of strong winds. The first around 4 ish brought a gust of 50 mph then winds dropped off. Increasing again now max so far 52mph

    Wind F6 SSW Max Gust 52mph Ave 31 mph

    A mild and windy night with a maximum gust of 66 mph at 0109, since surpassed with one of 68 mph at 0818.

    Intermittent rain from mid-evening onwards, much of it light but with a short spell of heavy rain during the early hours.

    Currently it's cloudy with brief light showers and a S/SW gale.

    Turning cloudy windy and mild overnight, spell of rain turning moderate through the early hours.. The SE close to near gale force at times. At observation, windy, partly cloudy, dry.

    Clear spells overnight and the odd light wintry shower, widespread ground frost. and slight air frost. Shallow fog patches forming around dawn. The fog thickened and deepened through the morning, visibility <50 yards by observation, frost and ice. The fog slowly lifted through the morning, so by early afternoon bright and sunny spells developed. Stay chilly in the fog, with temperatures around 2c, lifting to 4.7c by afternoon in sunny spells. Light winds through the day, though the SE wind increased through the evening, increasing further close to gale for before midnight accompanied by light rain.

    A mild ( although it didn't feel it on the moors ) day with a S/SW gale until mid-afternoon. One or two light showers and a few equally brief sunny intervals but on the whole it was dry and cloudy, the cloud dispersing during the late afternoon.

    Very windy last night, SW gusts to over 50mph, rain cleared soon after midnight thereafter just the odd brief light shower.

    Rather cloudy with a few sunny intervals to 1300 then sunny periods, a few rain and hail showers. Strong SW wind this morning moderated afternoon. More in the way of rain and hail showers this evening.
